Privacy Policy

This page describes how Clientell ("we", "us") handles your data when you use the web app or the iOS app. We try to keep it short and free of legalese — but it is still a legal document, so the specifics matter.

What we collect

• Account info. Your email address and the workspace name. We use a passwordless email magic link or one-time code to sign you in — we do not store passwords.
• Workspace content. Clients, projects, line items, invoices, catalog items, and AI assistant conversations you create — all scoped to your workspace.
• Usage metadata. Login timestamps and request logs we need to operate and debug the service. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

What we do with it

• Run the product: serve your data, render invoices, and authenticate your sessions.
• Send transactional email through Postmark (magic links and login codes).
• Forward AI assistant requests to model providers (OpenAI for text, Deepgram for speech when used) — only the message text needed for the request leaves our system. Your stored data is never used to train their models.

What we don't do

• Sell your data. Ever.
• Train any model on your workspace content.
• Share your content with other workspaces or users.

Retention

Your data stays in your workspace until you delete it. Clients, projects, invoices, and line items can be deleted from inside the app. Email hello@graysandtech.com to delete your entire account; we will remove all workspace content within 30 days of the request.

Access and corrections

You can view, edit, and delete everything you have created from within the product. For anything that is not self-serve, email hello@graysandtech.com and we will handle it.

Children

Clientell is a tool for professional invoicing and is not intended for anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
